The National Trust:
Our creative and digital work with The National Trust, Giant’s Causeway team helped them attain the number one position for ‘Best Heritage Attraction in the UK’ in the prestigious British Travel Awards in Oct 2017.
McCormick Communications provided a variety of communications support activities to the National Trust team within the Giant’s Causeway, Carrick-a-Rede, Whitepark Bay and Cushendun areas including a variety of content based strategies, media support and the development of an online strategy to support their bid for their third British Travel Awards entry.
McCormick Communications developed the creative brief for a short video production, which was project managed and shared via Facebook, achieving a reach of over 200,000 views in 4 weeks, as well as developing a complementary social media schedule for Twitter, both of which included a clear call to action for the public to make their vote.
The campaign saw the Giant’s Causeway team not only achieve the highly coveted first place position, but saw them pip their strongest competitor, Edinburgh Castle, to the post for their third consecutive year.
